Welcome, Earth, to my galaxy. It is a barred spiral galaxy, type SBa, on the edge of the Virgo Supercluster opposite the Milky Way....what? This is a blog, not a galaxy? Very well, you are free to reject my reality and substitute your own. My first few posts on here may seem quite serious in nature, but I hope the discussion here will be serious in the sense of 'eagerly pursuing worthwhile topics', not 'grave, somber, and straightlaced'. Humor, lightheartedness, and flat-out goofiness are always welcome!
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!! that's so cool/exciting Crystal!!!!
unfortunately I've only had time to listen to two of them though. But I saw Etude in E major and got really really really really happy! that is one of my favorite of Chopin's.
I think Chopin is my favoite composer, maybe. I'm "sort of" working on one of his waltzes right now.
Hmm, good question. I've got this weird concept that time moves through me while I stand still, but I don't know which direction it goes when it leaves me...
Ohh, a Chopin waltz! Which one?
Chopin is my favorite composer for the piano, I think. But Rachmaninoff is awesome too. And no-one is as heavenly as Bach. As you can see, I have favorites, but not a favorite.
hey, just finally decided to drop by . . or bye . . . which ever one is supposed to fit in that catagory . . . . but i also wanted to say hi . . . or hello . . . whichever you prefer!
what an awful lot of things you use good morning for!
uhh....Waltz in C sharp minor I believe. my book only says the opus and stuff and I hate key signatures. at least the one with LOTS of sharps or flats.
yeah, it's in C sharp minor. it's one of my favorite piano pieces ever and I'm hoping I can play it for my recital next year.

*looks around*
is it really true, that home is behind and the world ahead?
or is the past behind us, and (as Kermit says in Muppet Treasure Island) the future below us?

Haha, I was asking for the opus number, actually. But, looking at my CD, there's only one in C sharp minor...*plays it* oh yes, that one's pretty.
Hi/hello/greetings back at you, Bo! They're all fine by me.
lol, it's opus 64 No. 2. we'll just call it the really pretty one for now.
*wink*
speaking of which, I should probably stop wasting time online and go practice now....
